SipMatch is a location-based drink finder. Here's exactly what happens with your information when you use it.
When you tap “Share location,” your browser requests your device's current position. If you allow it, your approximate coordinates (latitude and longitude) are sent to our server to find nearby coffee and tea spots. Your location is used only to make search results relevant to where you are. It is not stored, logged to a database, or tied to any account.
When you search for a drink, your query and approximate location are sent to our server. We use this to call Google Places API — a service by Google — to retrieve nearby business listings. We do not store or log your search queries.
SipMatch does not require you to create an account. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics services. We do not build profiles of our users.
To prevent abuse, our server briefly tracks the number of requests from your IP address using an in-memory counter. This data is never written to a database or disk, and it clears automatically over time.
Search results are powered by Google Places API. When you perform a search, your query and approximate location are sent to Google's servers as part of that request. Google's own privacy policy governs how Google handles that data. We do not control Google's data practices.
SipMatch does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Results shown in SipMatch come from Google Places. We do not guarantee the accuracy of business names, hours, menu items, reviews, or real-time availability. Verify details directly with the business before visiting.
